Convalescing in Sydney

Darlinghurst in Sydney is a great place to recover from heart surgery. Everything is a short walk and everything is interesting (particularly the maddies).

Lucky you... I'd run out of memory for my digicam if I were in Sydney. Bring on the gigabytes!

I took some video of the 'Coke' sign - quite fascinating. The merc with the number plate 'dealer' was in an inner city suburb known for drugs. And the top photo is of Buddha's birthday celebrations. Never a dull moment.

What kind of digicam are you using?

I've finally made peace with my Canon i7 zoom (powershot SD40). Now I'm able to take decent pictures with it, and have figured out how to take super-macro shots with it. Anyway, I realised that the lens performance of my new cam is not any better than my old cam. The only difference is the increased useless megapixels.

I'm just using the video feature of my very cheap and ancient canon. Not many pixels, but the main disadvantage is the viewing screen. Very hard to see in sunlight. Nevertheless, commensurate with my photographic talents.
