Please tell me you're using a different camera for the pictures, because they look great :)
I'm getting pretty upset with my so-called "photographer" friends recently. I told them I'm trying to learn more about taking better pictures and I asked them for help. But they couldn't be bothered with me. So I bought a book and tried to read up on the subject. After that, I took some pictures, and I asked them what did they think about the pictures. They wouldn't tell me if my pictures were good or not.
I know you're very frank. So please tell me if I'm taking crap pictures and putting them on my poor blog. If you think so, I stop trying so hard and snap with my "cannot make it" N91 phone cam from now on.
Oh, and I'm moving on to a new job in 10 days' time. I'll be working in IHPC (I Have Powerful Computers) on 1st July onwards. Wish me luck. I'll give you my new email address as soon as I know what it is.

I'm still using the same old camera, but take so many that some are bound to turn out in focus (many don't). Janet was a professional photographer and won various awards (including a cover on National Geographic). I'll introduce you. Good luck with the new job and be nice to the nerdy computer techs.
I got snubbed at a "pro" camera shop today. I went in with O and asked if they sold macro lenses that go with my camera. They weren't interested in serving me at all. Instead, the shop assistant immediately ignored me when an older tourist entered the shop and asked to see a P&S Cannon worth S$329. Here I was, wanting to buy a S$600 lens and they ignored me totally. How stupid!
